Our mission is to assist residents of affordable housing as they strive to enhance their lives, job opportunities and children’s futures.
The NAHMA Educational Foundation is organized and operated exclusively as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Founded in October 1994, the NAHMA Educational Foundation works to assist residents of federally subsidized housing as they strive to enhance their lives, job opportunities and children’s futures. Its mission is also to enhance the livability and standing of communities managed by NAHMA member companies nationwide.
“Getting this scholarship is equally exciting and relieving. Because your donations to support the NAHMA Educational Foundation, I am able to complete my studies without having to worry about paying for college. This takes a lot of pressure off of my family. I can put my energies toward pursuing my educational dreams."
Every year the NAHMA Educational Foundation hosts their Annual Fundraising Inspire Gala in the fall. Fundraising, live auctions, food, drinks, entertainment… its the place to be every October!
We can talk all we want about what we do, but read it for yourself in our Annual Report. What happened this year? Where did your donation really go?
Our drug-free themed calendar poster art contest is open to children, seniors and residents with special needs living in our AHMA properties to express themselves through art. Winners get their artwork on next year’s calendar (for public sale) and the Grand Prize Winner has their artwork auctioned at the Annual Fundraising Gala.
We’d be nothing without our donors, sponsors and supporters. Find out how you can help today!
